AKC Compliant Ownership Change

This form is for the sale of one of our adults and is compliant with AKC record-keeping requirements.

Section 1: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

The person named as "from whom dog was obtained" (the "Transferor", which is Lilac Blossom Yorkies when the dog comes from our kennel) transfers ownership of the dog described on this form to the person named as "to whom transferred" (the "New Owner"), effective on the date the form is signed.

Section 2: REGISTRATION AND RECORDS

The information on this form is given to keep complete ownership records for the dog. The registration documents checked on this form are handed over at the time of transfer. The New Owner is responsible for completing the registry's transfer of ownership and paying the registry's fees, unless the Transferor agrees otherwise in writing. Both parties will keep a copy of this form.

Section 3: APPROVAL OF REGISTRABLE LITTERS

The New Owner agrees to approve registration of any litters that are not yet born but are confirmed breedings disclosed by the Transferor on this form. The New Owner will sign any papers the registry requires for those litters promptly after the Transferor asks.

Section 4: ACCURACY

Each person confirms that the information they entered on this form is true and complete to the best of their knowledge.

Section 5: AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By signing, the New Owner agrees to the terms in sections 1-5. The Transferor countersigns the copy returned to the New Owner.

By typing or drawing a signature below, the signer confirms they have read and understood this entire ownership change record, that they are signing it voluntarily, and that an electronic signature is as binding as a handwritten one. A copy of the signed agreement will be sent to the email address entered on this form.
